The Friends of Children’s Hospitals Foundation in Warsaw has completed a project to equip the neonatal and infant pathology unit with new beds, replacing equipment that was several decades old. A total of 31 pediatric rehabilitation beds were purchased, specifically designed with the safety and comfort of the youngest patients in mind.

Equipment for Pediatric Surgical Endoscopy
Equipment for pediatric surgical endoscopy has been delivered to the Prof. Dr. Med. J. Bogdanowicz Children’s Hospital in Warsaw. The new equipment replaces outdated devices. It is less invasive, more precise, and reduces recovery time and hospital stays by half!
Thanks to it, children will receive the necessary medical care faster than ever before. The waiting time for surgery will be reduced from 3 months to just a few weeks. This not only speeds up the process but also allows the hospital to perform a greater number of surgeries.

Diagnostic equipment for ophthalmology outpatient clinic
Modern diagnostic equipment was delivered to the ophthalmology outpatient clinic at Jan Bogdanowicz Children’s Hospital.
We estimate that over 20 thousand children will benefit from it annually!
Two new patient monitors
This is the most advanced, comprehensive equipment which continuously monitors all vital functions, such as ECG, heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygenation/saturation, pulse, blood pressure, and temperature. The hospital does not have enough of these devices and needs 25 devices.
Microsurgery kit
This group of instruments is necessary for operations on the smallest parts of the body, such as the eye, the sinuses, the ear, etc. These devices provide specialized treatments under a microscope, which saves the children from undergoing major operations.

Blood vessel scanner
The latest technology in blood collection, this device greatly reduces the time and pain in obtaining blood from children. The scanner device assures only one procedure, reducing the fear and pain for the children. As blood work is taken all day long in the hospital and emergency room, the hospital needs 14 scanners.
Pulse oximeter
This device provides non-invasive, continuous monitoring of blood oxygen and heart rates for all the children of the hospital (newborns, infants, and older children). This device provides the most advanced diagnostic equipment for respiratory complications and thus allows early intervention for the most effective treatment. The hospital is in great need of these oximeters and requests 12 oximeters.

with modern equipmentso that the little patients can get better as soon as possible.
