We are launching a fundraising campaign to purchase modern medical equipment for the Allergology Department at the Prof. Jan Bogdanowicz Children’s Hospital on Niekłańska Street in Warsaw.
Our goal is to purchase a Fractional Exhaled Nitric Oxide (FeNO) Analyzer with a spirometry module, software, and workstation for diagnosing respiratory diseases, especially asthma. The device measures the level of nitric oxide in exhaled air, which is an important indicator of inflammation in the airways. In addition, the equipment includes a spirometry function – a basic examination used to assess lung function.
The device will be used daily both in the hospital ward and in the outpatient clinic. The currently available equipment is outdated, which is why the purchase of new equipment is urgently needed.
