Fundacja na Biegnij Warszawo

Our Foundation Once Again Took Part in BIEGNIJ WARSZAWO!

For another year in a row, the Friends of Children’s Hospitals Foundation in Warsaw participated in the BIEGNIJ WARSZAWO running event.

The Foundation was represented by Jerzy Glinkowski, a member of the Foundation Council, and Marcus Bernie, a member of the Management Board.

Funds in support of our Foundation were raised by CFE Polska – we would like to sincerely thank them for their commitment and support.

We are truly grateful for all the funds collected and we are already looking forward to future sports initiatives that combine helping others with physical activity and positive energy. 💙

650 kilometrów dobra

650 Kilometers for a Good Cause – Thank You, NatWest!

Last year, our Partners and Friends at NatWest once again proved that helping others can go hand in hand with passion and true commitment. A group of 25 participants cycled a total of 650 kilometers to support the youngest patients of the ENT (Otolaryngology) Clinic at the Prof. Dr. J. Bogdanowicz Children’s Hospital.

The initiative was completed in two stages:

  • Coastal stage (300 km) – the route Hel–Gdańsk–Krynica Morska–Gdańsk, completed in May as part of NatWest’s cycling trip.
  • Central stage (350 km) – the route Warsaw–Kraków, completed in June as part of an initiative accompanying the ABSL Summit 2025 conference.

Thanks to this outstanding effort, PLN 38,000 was raised. The funds will be used to purchase a video otoendoscope system. This modern equipment will enable doctors to diagnose children with ENT conditions more quickly and accurately, improving patient comfort, supporting more precise diagnoses already during the first visit, and helping children recover faster. 💙

We would like to sincerely thank NatWest for their dedication, determination, and meaningful support for our youngest patients!

Rozkładane łóżko

30 fold-out beds for parents

We delivered 30 fold-out beds for parents and caregivers of young patients to the Prof. Dr. J. Bogdanowicz Children’s Hospital.
The equipment was provided to the Neurology Department, where it will be used by parents staying with their children during hospitalization. This will allow caregivers to rest in more comfortable conditions and regain strength, which is particularly important during long-term hospital stays.

31 hospital beds for patients

The Friends of Children’s Hospitals Foundation in Warsaw has completed a project to equip the neonatal and infant pathology unit with new beds, replacing equipment that was several decades old. A total of 31 pediatric rehabilitation beds were purchased, specifically designed with the safety and comfort of the youngest patients in mind.

Equipment for Pediatric Surgical Endoscopy

Equipment for pediatric surgical endoscopy has been delivered to the Prof. Dr. Med. J. Bogdanowicz Children’s Hospital in Warsaw. The new equipment replaces outdated devices. It is less invasive, more precise, and reduces recovery time and hospital stays by half!
Thanks to it, children will receive the necessary medical care faster than ever before. The waiting time for surgery will be reduced from 3 months to just a few weeks. This not only speeds up the process but also allows the hospital to perform a greater number of surgeries.

Benefits of the new surgical equipment:

  • Usable for newborns.
  • Excellent optical technology.
  • Higher precision.
  • Advanced, less invasive devices.
  • Faster procedure.
  • Accelerated recovery.
  • At least 50% shorter hospital stay.
  • Will help thousands of children annually.

4 ELI 280 ECG machines

W are excited to announce that we have purchased 4 EKG machines for the Nieklanska Children’s Hospital. These heart monitors which are specially designed for infants and children were greatly needed and will be used throughout the hospital, in the departments of Allergology, Neurology, Pediatrics and Intensive Care.

Help for patients from Ukraine

We are collecting money for the medical care and hospitalization of young patients who were forced to leave Ukraine, their homeland.

All donations will be used for the most necessary medicines for children refugees who will receive medical help at the hospital on Niekłańska Street in Warsaw, Poland.

Let’s help them and their families regain a sense of security and provide them with access to decent medical care at such a particularly difficult time.

Contributions can be made to the account: 39 1030 1508 0000 0005 0039 8020

On behalf of the patients and their families, thank you!
